Nok Air back to Don Mueang Airport
The airline starts operating at Don Mueang Airport from March 6 onwards.
Nok Air announces its move back to Don Mueang Airport, and that it will start operating its flights out of there from 6 March 2012 onwards, after the reopening of Don Mueang Airport by Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT) following the airport’s closure as result of the flood crisis in Bangkok in late 2011.

Air Force to drain floodwater in Don Mueang Airport in 14 days
The Air Force will use 14 water pumps to drain floodwater from the Don Mueang Airport and complete the task in two weeks, Defense Minister Spokesman Col Thanatip Sawangsaeng said Friday.
Thanatip said the draining of floodwater from the airport was under the responsibility of Airports of Thailand Plc and the Air Force would provide personnel and water pumps to help in the mission.
The water would be drained into Prem Prachakorn Canal and to the road.

Don Muang airport to start draining flood water Tuesday : AoT
The construction of ‘Big Bags’ at Don Mueang Airport was expected to be completed on November 15 before draining of floodwater from the airport would begin.
Repair work would take around 60 days before the airport could reopen, said Airports of Thailand (AoT) chairman ACM Sumet Photimanee.
