Airport halts flights amid Bangkok flooding

www.euronews.net Bangkok's second airport has closed amid Thailand's worst flooding in half a century. Don Muang airport, used mostly for domestic services, halted operations as water levels were making access difficult for passengers and staff. The site in the north of the capital is expected to reopen on November 1. The international airport elsewhere in Bangkok is still open but at Don Muang, which has been used as an evacuation centre, the runways are empty.
